It is an unfortunate truth to those members of the military of any gender to have been in these circumstances. Stuck, trapped, no one to turn to. The pain, embarrassment, isolation. Discarded is one great step towards expressing the horrors that can happen to someone. This someone who needed help, support and positive mentors.
You may be nameless now, but that doesn’t have to continue. You are important. You deserve sympathy and a shield from the torture.
